Danes living  abroad

Danish Law Allowing Dual Citizenship in Effect September 1, 2015. On December 18, 2014, the Danish parliament voted to pass a law which will allow Danes to become citizens of another country without having to give up their Danish citizenship. The law means that Danish nationals who wish to acquire a foreign nationality may do so without losing their Danish citizenship.
