Nordic Genius Meets Silicon Valley Drive
We’re still buzzing with excitement from this year’s Bifrost conference, and we couldn’t wait to share the highlights with you! Titled “Nordic Genious Meets Silicon Valley Drive”, it was a week filled with inspiration, innovation, and connections.
From the warm welcome event at the Nordic Innovation House in Palo Alto (so well attended that many attendees were convening outside) to engaging discussions at prestigious venues like the Stanford Faculty Club, Capgemini Applied Innovation Exchange, Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center in San Francisco, and Nvidia in Santa Clara, the conference truly brought together the best of both worlds. With a central theme of sustainability, we delved into topics ranging from sustainable cities, transportation, trade, and energy, and most importantly, a focus on Women in Climate Tech.
The energy and enthusiasm among attendees were palpable, as we witnessed fruitful interactions and collaborations across various stakeholders. It’s increduble to see how these gatherings bridge the gap between Nordic climate tech companies and thought leaders from Silicon Valley, fostering a community dedicated to driving climate tech forward.
In the face of alarming data about our warming planet, the urgency for action is clear. Fortunately, the Climate Tech space is evolving rapidly, with innovation flourishing at every turn. The job opportunities created in this field are expanding, and new companies are emerging with promising solutions. While some may face challenges, the overall trajectory is promising, benefiting society, employees and investors alike.
Looking ahead, mark your calendars for next year’s Bifrost conference! And don’t miss out on the upcoming SF Climate Week, happening from April 21 to April 27, 2024, right here in San Francisco.
